* Plug in power supply (you cannot reset without power supply attached to Surface).
* Press the magnifying glass key on the keypad.
* If you don’t have keypad attached, swipe from left edge inwards to bring out the menu and touch the magnifying glass search icon.
* On the Search screen, select Settings and search for remove.
* Select Remove everything and reinstall Windows.
* On Reset your PC screen, select Next.
* On Do you want to fully clean your drive? prompt, select Fully clean the drive.
* Plugin power supply if you have not done so. You cannot continue without power supply plugged in.
* On Ready to reset you PC screen, select Reset. Note that all you personal data will be erase once you select/touch the Reset button.
