Overview
* High Range drive button is:
– the left most button under engine start button (four lines mimicking wheels)
* Low Range drive button is:
– the third button from left under engine start button (a car climbing up left)
Option 1: Engage/Dis-engage In Park Mode
* Before engaging/dis-engaging four wheel drives, make sure:
– foot on brake
– engine is running
– steering wheel is straight
Engage/Dis-engage High Range Drive
* Make sure:
– Low Range is NOT engaged
– transmission in Park mode
* Press High Range drive button
– indicator light on the button should stay onindicating high range drive is engaged
* Repeat steps to dis-engage
Engage/Dis-engage Low Range Drive
* Make sure:
– High Range IS engaged
* Press Low Range drive button
– LOW RANGE ON is displayed on instrument panel indicating low range drive is engaged
* Repeat steps to dis-engage
Option 2: Engage/Dis-engage In Neutral Mode
* Before engaging/dis-engaging four wheel drives, make sure:
– foot on brake
– engine is running
– steering wheel is straight
Engage/Dis-engage High Range Drive
* Make sure:
– Low Range is NOT engaged
* Shift transmission into neutral, i.e. N, position
* Press High Range drive button
* Shift transmission into reverse, i.e. R, position
– LOW RANGE ON is displayed on instrument panel indicating low range drive is engaged
* Repeat steps to dis-engage
Engage/Dis-engage Low Range Drive
* Make sure:
– High Range IS engaged
* Shift transmission into neutral, i.e. N, position
* Press low range drive button
* Shift transmission into reverse, i.e. R, position
– LOW RANGE ON displayed on instrument panel indicating low range drive is engaged
