        \n– VMware vSphere Hypervisor 5 License: needed to unlock the free features of ESXi once the initial 60 day trial period expires.
        \n– VMware ESXi 5.1 (CD ISO) Installable 2012-09-10 | 5.1.0 | 301M | Binary (.iso)
        \n– VMware vSphere Client 5.1
        \n* Burn the downloaded CD ISO image to a CD disk.<\/p>\n

        Setup BIOS<\/h3><\/span>\n

        * Boot into BIO setup.
        \n* Enable VT (Virtualization Technology) Support.
        \n* Enable boot from CD\/DVD ROM.<\/p>\n

        * Boot from ESXi 5.1 CD
        \n* Accept EULA
        \n* Select disk
        \n* Select OK to overwrite partition
        \n* Select keyboard layout: US Default<\/em>
        \n* Enter root password
        \n* Confirm install
        \n* Remove CD and reboot<\/p>\n

        \n* Press F2: Customize system\/view logs<\/em>
        \n* Login as root user
        \n* Select: Configure Management Network<\/em>
        \n* Select: IP Configuration<\/em>
        \n* Select: Set Static IP address and network config<\/em> and enter, for example:
