Create a New Wallet with Oracle Wallet Manager (owm)<\/h2><\/span>\n

Following the procedure below to create a new Oracle wallet in directory C:\\TEMP\\wallet1.
\n* Start Wallet Manager
\n– Unix: \/opt\/oracle\/oas\/bin >.\/owm
\n– Windows: Start -> All Programs -> Oracle -> Integrated Management Tools -> Wallet Manager
\n– Windows: C:\\product\\10.1.3.1\\OracleAS_2\\bin>launch.exe ORACLE_HOME\\bin owm.cl
\n* Click Wallet -> New
\n* Click No on default wallet directory does not exist warning
\n* On New Wallet dialog, enter
\n– Wallet Password: Welcome1
\n– Wallet Type: standard
\n– Click OK
\n* Click Yes on “Do you want to create a certificate request at this time?” dialog
\n* On Create Certificate Request dialog, enter:
\n– Common Name: www.my.com
\n– Organization Unit: Test Unit
\n– Organization: My Com
\n– Locality\/City: Reston
\n– State\/Province: Virginia
\n– Country: United States
\n– Key Size: 1024
\n* Click OK
\n* Click OK on confirmation dialog
\n* Click Wallet -> Save and
\n– Choose Directory: C:\\TEMP\\wallet1
\n– Enter OK
\n– Enter Yes on create directory warning
\n* Check Wallet -> Auto Login
\n* Click Wallet -> Save again<\/p>\n

Export Certificate Request (CSR)<\/h2><\/span>\n

* From wallet manager
\n* Click Certificate[Requested]
\n* Click Operations -> Export Certificate Request
\n* Enter File name: www_my_com.csr
\n* Click Save<\/p>\n

Sign CSR<\/h2><\/span>\n

* Send www_my_com.csr to CA for signing.
\n* See this post<\/a> on how to setup OpenSSL CA and sign the CSR.<\/p>\n

Import Signed Certificate<\/h2><\/span>\n

* Open wallet1 from Wallet Manager
\n* Click Operations -> Import User Certificate
\n* Select “Select a file that contains the certificate”
\n* Click OK
\n* Browse to signed certificate file
\n* Click Yes on “Do you want to import CA certificate now?” dialog
\n* Select “Select a file that contains the certificate”
\n* Browse to CA certificate file
\n* You should see
\n– Certificate:[Ready]
\n– Trusted Certificates -> Signing CA
