To enable integrated Windows authentication<\/h3>\n

  1. Log onto the Web server using an administrator account.<\/li>\n
  2. On the Start<\/strong> menu, click Administrative Tools Control Panel<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. In the Administrative Tools<\/strong> window, double-click Internet Information Services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. In the Internet Information Services<\/strong> window, open the Web server node.A Web Sites<\/strong> folder opens beneath the server name.<\/li>\n
  5. You can configure authentication for all Web sites or for individual Web sites. To configure authentication for all Web sites, right-click the Web Sites<\/strong> folder and click Properties<\/strong> on the shortcut menu. To configure authentication for an individual Web site, open the Web Sites<\/strong> folder, right-click the individual Web site, and on the shortcut menu, click Properties<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. In the Properties<\/strong> dialog box, click the Directory Security<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n
  7. In the Anonymous access and authentication control<\/strong> section, click the Edit<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
  8. In the Authentication Methods<\/strong> dialog box, under Authenticated access<\/strong>, select Integrated Windows authentication<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  9. Click OK<\/strong> to close the Authentication Methods<\/strong> dialog box.<\/li>\n
  10. Click OK<\/strong> to close the Properties<\/strong> dialog box.<\/li>\n
