Repository Creation Utility (RCU) is only available on Windows and Linux. It can connect to databases running on other operating systems such as Solaris.<\/p>\n

– Oracle Fusion Middleware Repository Creation Utility 11g (11.1.1.4.0) for Microsoft Windows (32-bit): V24312-01.zip<\/p>\n

Unzip RCU zip file<\/h3><\/span>\n

* Unzip rcu zip file (ofm_rcu_win_11.1.1.4.0_disk1_1of1.zip) onto a local directory (e.g. C:\\Oracle\\Middleware).<\/p>\n

Create Schema<\/h3><\/span>\n

* Double click rcuHome\\BIN\\rcu.bat
\n* Click ‘Next’ at Welcome screen
\n* Click ‘Create’ then ‘Next’
\n* Enter database connectoin details:<\/p>\n

Database Type: Oracle Database\r\nHost Name: localhost\r\nPort: 1521\r\nService Name: orcl.world   # SID does NOT work.\r\nUsername: sys\r\nPassword: orcl\r\nRole: SYSDBA<\/pre>\n
* Enter
\n– Create a new Prefix: DEV
\n– Select SOA and BPM Infrastructure
\n– Click Next
\n* Use same passwords for all schemas
\n– Password: welcome1
\n* Review Tablespace mappings and Click Next<\/p>\n
