Prepare Repository DB Schema<\/h3><\/span>\n
\r\ncd C:\\prog\\DevSuiteHome_1\\repadm61\\admin\r\nsqlplus \/nolog\r\n\r\nSQL> @ ckqa\r\n\r\n-- (Optional) If you want to make any changes to the parameter values, edit the file CKPARAMS.TXT, then save and close it. \r\nSQL> @ ckparams.txt\r\n\r\n-- Validate the changes by entering the following: \r\nSQL> @ ckvalqa\r\n\r\nSQL> @ ckcreate\r\nSQL> exit\r\n<\/pre>\n
Prepare Repository<\/h3><\/span>\n
* If both Oracle db and dev suite are installed on the same machine, make sure
\n– ‘ORACLE_HOME’ is set to dev suite home (e.g. C:\\prog\\DevSuiteHome_1).
\n– Dev suite ‘tnsnames.ora’ has an entry to repository db (e.g. orcl).
\n– Env var ‘PATH’ contains dev suite home only.
\n* Start ‘Repository Administration Utility’
\n* Login as ‘REPOS_MANAGER\/MANAGER@orcl’. <\/p>\n
Within Repository Administration Utility<\/h4><\/span>\n
* Click ‘Check Requirements’ button. Make sure all privileges are granted.
\n* Click ‘Install’ button.
\n– Check ‘Support for Oracle Designer Objects’.
\n– click ‘OK’ button.
\n– Click ‘Yes’ to use public synonyms.
\n– Select appropriate index and data tablespaces.
\n– Select repository size (e.g. Medium).
\n– Click ‘Start’ button.
\n* When done, click ‘Cancel’ to exit Admin Utility.<\/p>\n
